Arrigal

A mysterious Vistani man who delivered a message supposedly from Kolyan Indirovich, burgomaster of Barovia. However, this was a ruse and the message actually was written by Strahd Von Zarovich himself to lure a band of adventurers into his lands.

Arrigal appeared to be a friendly, well meaning servant of the burgomaster, just trying to secure aid for Ireena Kolyana. However, his true motives were hidden, and after successfully luring a band of adventurers to go to Barovia, he returned to deliver the news to Strahd.

Arrigal and his brother, Luvash, were the leaders of the Vistani camp near Vallaki. When the party saved his niece, Arabelle, he was willing to explain to them that he simply was offered gold to deliver them to Barovia, and also that it was not smart to deny someone as powerful as Strahd what he wished. He seemed sincere and apologized to the group.

Unlike his brother, Arrigal was quite distrustful of outsiders. While outwardly outgoing and gregarious, he often kept his actual thoughts quite hidden. A cunning man, Arrigal's first considerations in all things were protecting himself, his fortune, and his people, in that order.
