Longdraught's Mercantile

Longdraught's Mercantile is the only shop in the village of Cuzau. Owned and operated by Finestra Longdraught, a hard-headed halfling woman, the mercantile is a general store that sells everything from seeds to tools, rations to rope. Most of the stock comes from trade with Zeidenburg to the south. Finestra sends a small convoy southward about three times a year, bringing back a haul of goods.

The shop is not well organized, with items just piled up all over. Despite this, Finestra knows every single item in the entire store, where it is, when it came in, and how much it's worth. She doesn't haggle, at least, not to her detriment. Finestra doesn't seem to know the meaning of the word "sale" either.

Although the shop does carry a large number of items, they are generally all of the mundane sort. Finestra doesn't stock magic items or potions. She does have some herbalist items, but she'd point people to one of the town farmers if they are looking for anything in large quantity. She does usually have some weapons and armor, but nothing special, and she does not do alterations on armor, so if it doesn't fit, tough luck.

She doesn't usually buy used gear, and she's not at all interested in magic items. She will only accept gold, electrum, and copper. She doesn't trade in platinum and she absolutely won't take silver. The store generally won't buy gemstones, but Finestra might make an exception if she comes out on top of the deal.
