8th of Kythorn, 1492 DR. midafternoon, continued
Flinkus opens the door and sees a quartet of nothic in the room beyond. He decides that they well attack the party in order to take their magic. He preemptively attacks them. Mirimadae and Raidar, seeing the combat is engaged, move in and engage.
After the first two are killed, one runs over to Ashes and says, "master, stop them from killing us."
Heahmund, having taken no offensive actions, moves through the party and says in a calm level voice, "stop"
The revenant says that Rex the Hammer is his last remaining betrayer. The nothic say that purple skinned elf with white hair Rizzeryl and his bipedal rat creatures. The wizard has a wand with the symbol of The Xanathar Guild.
The party proceeds down the corridor, finding a pair of washrooms and wall of skeletons and hobgoblin armor. Mirimadae climbs up and over, followed by Flinkus, Raidar, and Heahmund. Epik struggles as the revenant makes it over with ease.
The party continues around, coming next to a trio of gibbering mouthers. The battle is challenging, but nothing beyond the capabilities of this party. Once they defeat the trio, the last falling when Heahmund tolls the dead draining the last vestiges of life from the abomination.
Looping around, through the partially caved in hall, they find themselves back at the wall of hobgoblin skeletons. They continue to the last possible route to Rex the Hammer.
They come up a combat where a fiend and a pair of nothics are battling a large human with a battle axe.
Heahmund ritually casts detect magic.
