A slippery pig
Princess is sweet-natured and intelligent. She was found as a piglet by Marco and is loyal to him. Her affections can be won by providing her with snacks and snout scratches. Princess does not like Griselda (Marco thinks it has something to do with the woman’s intimidating height) or the dark.
Game: Catch the Princess!
Cost: 3 Tokens
Once daily, Princess the pig is greased up and released into the fairgrounds. Whoever catches her receives a special prize. The only rule is that you are not permitted to harm Princes in the process of her capture. Players must first roll initiative (Princess will always get 1 and start 30 feet ahead).
Chase - Dex roll vs Princess Dex to determine if a 10-foot gap is closed. (Dex to navigate past other guests, attractions, obstacles, etc). Players have 5 rounds to capture before another guest will jump in and try to grab Princess (NPC Dex at disadvantage (grease) vs Princess Dex).
Lure - Animal handling vs Princess insight. If successful, the group must also fend off other carnival goers (+15 str). If successful, they must still roll to see if they are able to grab her (Dex at disadvantage (grease) vs Princess Dex). If they fail, they must employ another tactic to capture her.
Trap - Survival vs Princess investigation. If successful, Princess can use her strength to break free of the trap (+15 str)
Magic - Players will find themselves unable to use their own magical abilities within the fairgrounds. (Marco does not want magic users cheating or causing problems)

Sidequest: Royal Treatment
Marco can’t find Princess’s collar - it’s a pink band encrusted with jewels. He’s certain that no one working for him would steal it - despite its value. Find this item and he’ll give you a token.
One of the chickens has taken it and used it as nesting material.
