Agnes comes to check on Will, who has returned to the Warren after being aboveground for a few days. He shares some of his struggles from the last few days, centering around Collin's death. Will is worried he's opening old wounds for Agnes, who assures him that even though the loss of a child is difficult and never leaves you, eventually it will get easier. Agnes shares that she has lost more children than just Tomlin. The two unpack what happened in the cave. Both Agnes and Will blame themselves for letting Collin go with them and for not being able to bring him out of the cave, but each assure the other that it wasn't.
Will admits that he's initmidated by Roman. He is also worried that all of the changes in his life are too much: his parents, losing his kid, potentially losing Grace, quitting his job at the hospital. He tells Agnes that the Prince asked him to be bloodbound and then go work for the Anarchs to stop whatever they're planning. Will wants to go but he's torn up about his parents lying to him, even though he knows he's an Anarch at heart. Will is also worried about how he and Grace to see each other if he lives in Brooklyn.
Agnes offers for them to have an apartment in the Warren, and that Grace thinks that's a good idea. Will is confused but excited that Agnes and Grace have been talking, and tries to get Agnes to tell him how Grace and doing and what she said about him. Agnes politely keeps Grace's confidence, but assures Will that they both love and need each other. Agnes encourges them to find a compromise, to both be safe but find a way to be together. Will is worried that a compromise could jeopardize Grace's sanity as well as her safety.
Will decides he need to marry Grace, and asks Agnes to help. Agnes offers to help, and they discuss weddings. Agnes tells Will that she and Roman have been married 10 times so far. Agnes offers to help Will get a wedding ring alternative.
They discuss what Will should tell the Prince and how much of his plan they should tell Jacob, especially if Will is acting as a triple agent for the Anarchs. They are cautious about telling him because of his commitment to the Camarilla and his desire to protect Awn. Will discusses his mistrust of his parents. Agnes invites Will (and Grace) to a Barclay family game night.
