A new ship that has only appeared within the past 50 or 60 years, the Mindspider has been quickly gaining the same dangerous reputation as the more common neogi Deathspiders, and as a result, they are usually attacked on sight by those capable of doing so. The Mindspider is lighter, faster, more maneuverable, and better armored than the Deathspider, but since it is so much smaller it carries far less weaponry and marines. The Mindspider is used in situations where subtlety, or what passes for subtlety amongst the neogi, is needed.
