a large tree which the Tabaxi worship. They believe it is the source to all magic and life in Truneo Del Isla. They have an elite group of warriors who protect the tree night and day. These warriors come from every tribe and have no alliances to any tribe. The Tree Shield don't climb the tree but work to protect it. They have a special magic which they are imbued with by the tree in a ceremony that binds them by an oath. For them protecting the tree is more then just a duty literally their lives are on the line. The oath will cause intense pain if they even thinking about hurting the tree. On top of the dedication, they also can feel when the tree is in danger and have the ability to shield the tree using their own life force.
The tree has a glowing green emerald named as The Seed Of The Tree. It seems to be the main source of power for the tree. The ceremony the Tree Shields take actual glowing energy gets absorbed into the bodies of the warriors chosen. Some of the warriors say they can actual see a faint green line coming from the center of the chest leading to World Tree.
The story of the birth of the World Tree says that a great battle between the angels and demons happen on the land of the World Tree. An angel Micah sacrificed his own life to end the reign of the Demon Lord. Where his blood spilt the World Tree grew spreading vegetation through out the lands, and creating the first life on Truneo Del Isla. a small feline animal that the Tabaxi believe to be their great ancestor.
There has been two known attacks on the World Tree. The Demons Reach when Devonshire attacked Baragu. They were hoping to expand Devonshire and control the life force to manipulate it for chaos. The second time was when Gaberial the angel fell into darkness becoming a demon lord. Since he was not bound to the layers of Pandemonium. He sought to get revenge on his fellow angels and goddess Tula. He was stopped by the Tree Shields.
