Mwangi native prisoner aboard the Jenivere

Having been brought on board in Corentyn, Jask has spent the entire voyage in the ship's brig clamped in arm and leg manacles. Very little interaction with the prisoner was allowed by Captain Kovack. What little interaction as did occur presented a determined but quiet man. Jask appears to be a middle-aged ethnic Zenj with graying hair and watery eyes. He is currently dressed in ragged clothing and two sets of manacles.
Waking on the beach, Jask seems unable to provide for himself or defend himself because of the heavy shackles. He has exchanged somewhat desperate glances with Gibar who he seems to see with slightly more trust than the rest of the castaways.
When questioned, Jask told Gibar that he ran afoul of the Sargavan government over a decade ago. He claims that he worked for the government in Eleder and found proof that his superior was colluding with a group of Free Captain pirates involving illicit deals. However, when he presented the proof, it was intercepted and his superior framed him for the crimes. He fled to Corentyn and worked as a scribe for years before suddenly being accosted by a bounty hunter and put aboard the Jenivere to answer for his "crimes" back in Eleder.
