Boddi Ashenhand

Boddi Ashenhand was a young wizard who served at the court of the dread king when Oroban Vilos decided to strike. Boddi had grown weary of bearing witness to the crimes of his nefarious colleagues and swore to Oroban that he would aid him in his cause. The gates of the castle opened wide open for the heroes as they strode in thanks to Boddi's subterfuge. Despite how proud he was of the Tylathin Union & their success Boddi would never recover from the guilt of his betrayal. Even in his elderly years his eyes were often dark and sallow & he spent long periods of time alone within his chambers in the Helix.

Boddi would never hold public office within the Union but he often assisted the Office of Assignments & Services in their work in examining arcane innovation. In the aftermath of the Unraveling, much of Boddi's work in expanding the field of artifice would provide the groundwork for the Spellwrought Engines.

During these years of retirement and reflection Boddi would go on to become the most prolific writer in the history of the Tylathi Valley. Great tomes and books detailing everything from histories to the finer points of engineering would fill the libraries of Vulcata.

Boddi Ashenhand died during the Unraveling ostensibly within the chambers of his estate. The great adamantine shields & arcane nets he had constructed, that saved his beloved city, were the same ones that entombed him within his estate as magic was sundered throughout the world.
