This inn was built in the heyday of Edgewater when the mines were open and flowing. Since then it has become more than the community needs but the proprietor Miss Perdy continues to maintain it as the shining beacon of hope in the dwindling community. Miss Perdy is the daughter of Jonas Oakdale and an elven lady he met during his time in the military. She longs to know her mother, but Jonas simply tells her that her mother was forced to return to her ancestral home without her and so he raised her. Miss Perdy's real name is Percilla Oakdale, Jonas has always called her his pretty little one, and when she was a child she would tell people she was his "Perdy liddle un"; the name stuck.
