Khanum Somoyi Anett

Khanum Somoyi Anett, Khan of Khans, Blade of the Golden Valley, Champion of the Sun & Stars, is the regent of the Dendarin Khanate and one of the most rumored about persons in Southern Idora. Somoyi was born to two horse breeders on the outskirts of the settlement of Zegar. While their stables & pastures were humble, they would eventually rise to serve at the Court of Khagan Imre Leng. Somoyi spent most of her child tending to the horses at Court and received training as a member of the Khagan's entourage of warriors. Her skill with a bow was unparalleled by others in her class and she quickly became one of the Khagan's most trusted warriors.

While on a hunt in the Golden Valley, a stampede of Aurochs came upon the hunting party of the Khagan. The wildebeasts stormed the caravan, toppling wagons, and setting chaos to the train. The Khagan himself was was flung from his horse when one of the great beasts gored his steed. As the stampede scattered the caravan, the Khagan was trampled in a scattering of hooves. Except, he wasn't. Instead, Somoyi leapt in front of the Khagan's body and in a flash of steel managed to slice a charging Aurochs nearly in two and carried the Khagan out of the horde.

On the spot, in the light of the Sun & Stars, the Khagan announced that Somoyi would inherit his seat.
