Capital city of the Alyrican Empire and home to many races. Castle Highreach shines gloriously in the sky.
Ruled by High King Titus V and Queen Elynor.
Next to the castle is the Capital Library with grand advisor Martin is the caretaker of the library.
No greater city exists on the planet. Lorn started as a small fishing town on the Sea of Sirens and was Alyric's birthplace. Following the Great War, Alyric returned home and began the grand construction of Castle Highreach, along side his elven and dwarven allies. The castle would serve as the king's seat of power and as a reminder that unity builds strength.
Overtime, the town grew into a city as more people, of various races, travelled to make Lorn their new home. Alyric intended to make Lorn a beacon to all the races to prosper following the many years of darkness. And Lorn did prosper into a glorious city.
Roughly 200 years ago, the Capital Library was build to be a haven for all of Arandi's knowledge and a gathering place for the world's greatest minds. Ten years ago, Martin took over the library and in that time, it has outshined the Castle Highreach as the beacon of the Alyrican Empire.
In recent years, despite the king's and Queen's welcomed policies, a division has grown between the eastern and western parts of the empire. Many towns and villages, mainly Cantebury and Nevland, have felt isolated from Lorn's wealth and splendor. They have come to believe the royalty would rather spend their time and treasure on Lorn's prosperity and focus on the needs of the high elves.
Despire the empire's anomosity, Lorn still represents the heart and ideals of the empire.
