Female Tiefling Court Member
Lilith was born at home, in the small home of Reaghan Tarkelby and Sitre Tarkelby. Both of her parents are human, so it was with much consternation that they gave birth to a baby of infernal blood. Reaghan spent many resources trying to divine omens, and research bloodlines for ill portent. The sages could only conclude that both Reaghan and Sitre had traces connecting them to infernal ancestors, which convalesced in their daughter. Lilith is an only child, who had a challenging upbringing. Her father was taken by collectors for the steep costs he accumulated when trying to discern the legitimacy of his only daughter. Lilith ran away many times, preferring the streets and darkened alleys of Grancliffe to the safety and simplicity of home life. It was here that Lilith was recruited by a troupe of performers known as the Gilded Masques. They specialized in feats of acrobatic talent amidst a flaming revelry. One day, a female elf bard heckled her, loudly claiming that she was the better performer than Lilith. This bard, Antinua Horineth was an acrobat of moderate success. Yet when the two competed to see who the better performer was, Lilith managed to beat her handily, which almost cost Antinua her life. Antinua publicly denounced Lilith. Lilith devoted much of her time and life to the Gilded Masques, sending a large portion of her earnings home to her mother. As the years went by, Lilith became a respected performer, and seeking to make things easier for up and coming artists, she became elected to the High Court of Grancliffe. She recently survived a failed assassination attempt, and has been recovering at home.
