Dai

Dai, a "small-ish" (6'8") firbolg paladin was born to a noble family.  His family was of a bloodline who pledged loyalty to ancient firbolg royalty of Pangaia.  As his family has shown fealty to the royal families for quite some time this allowed Dai to be the benefactor of many resources: the royal families' military training, libraries, and would often spy upon the royal magicians of the kingship. 

He was once caught peeping by an amical old magician (some teenage firbolgs they grow into their frames can be quite awkward and clumsy).  The sorcerer called him out startling him, causing Dai to knock down and successfully catch said potions.

Instead of any sort of reprimand, he applauded Dai's reaction time.  The wizard knew of Dai's background, and told him with reflexes and training as Dai such had, he could be promoted to a royal knight.  The Earth wizard allowed Dai to continue observing him, and the two fostered a great friendship.  This allowed Dai to develop a appreciation for Gaia and it’s fauna.  Although Dai began to gain minor proficiency in farming, he could not comprehend the Earth-magic.  This led to Dai trying to impress the wizard with “faux-magics” (alchemy).

This is all that Dai can remember clearly, however, it feels that many memories (and skills) have been repressed.  He does not remember what happened to his family, the royals, or his dear magician friend, but in their memory he perseveres .
