Session 4. Finding the scene of the event.

Lynx passed out, dreaming intensely, fighting his own internal battle. O meditated to try and establish defenses against the weird possessing energy in his cybers; in the process, he met his mentor, Divided by Zero (nickname Divisor, Vizor for short) who trained him in his telepathy. Vizor died a decade ago, his neural imprint was stored in Iris Point's computers. He managed to defend himself from the energy disaster, and when O dove into the energies, he uncovered Vizor's echo and relived some of his telepathic training. O agreed to let Vizor nest in his mind, and in exchange Vizor gave him the precise energy signature of the weird otherworldly invading force. O immediately ran that frequency through the sensors, and discovered he could now pinpoint the energy infection locations.
Kojiro untangled the data from the probe they left with the wreckage of the freighter, and discovered the ship that tesserarched in as they left was a Transit Authority warship, the Mandate, probably checking for pirate activity and distress. The probe abruptly shut down, probably captured by a tractor beam.
Rendezvous
Kojiro piloted the ship in the meantime, and the Witching Hour picked up Flavius at the pre-appointed rendezvous. Flavius got up to speed on the situation and met Dubious Ellen and Fisher Price. O noticed the invasive energy jumped to the unmanned refueling station, so they pulled back and set a warning buoy then blew the station up with missiles. They headed to Iris Point.
While in the tesserarch tunnel on the way, Flavius piloted the ship and Kojiro scanned for anomalies or pursuit. O worked with Fisher Price on calibrating some gear to the invasive energy signature, in case that could bolster defense or assault capabilities. The two hit it off, talking about neural energy and its various applications. Then O settled in to meditate for hours. He unlocked the secret of manipulating the invasive energy, which Vizor called "exilic energy." He purged himself of it, and figured out how to also push it out of other things in his area.
Reaching Iris Point
Dropping out of the tesserarch tunnel, they penetrated the "event horizon" debris and energy screens hiding the top secret space station. Upon reaching the interior space, scans revealed an anti-matter explosion disintegrated everything in the area. (They also noticed the Primal Roil extended a "hook" towards this area, as though a weirdness magnet pulled at it.) As they considered their next move, sensors lit up.
Three interceptor craft were forming out of nothing, and the ghost ships closed in on the Witching Hour. As the ship executed evasive maneuvers, Kojiro took over the guns. His enthusiasm powered up multiple weapon systems at once and ran a short through the grid, wrecking the turret (but winging one of the interceptors.) Battle was joined.
