Trevor was born on March 22, 1989 to Jonathan and Lenore Reid. He grew up in Washington, DC with an older brother, Britt Reid III.
Trevor majored in Political Science and Communications with a minor in English and graduated as a Magna Cum Laude Presidential Scholar with Department Honors in 2011 from Georgetown University.
In 2011, Trevor was a Production and Development Assistant at DSTV, a division of the family business--Daily Sentinel Media Group. Trevor covered the 2012 presidential campaign and was a White House correspondent. Then in 2019, Trevor moved to Chicago to head the Midwest News Division as chief editor. His brother, Britt was brutally murdered in 2021. He moved to Washington, DC for a short time then returned to Chicago to run company from the Midwest office. His father came out of retirement to head the Washington, DC office.
He developed many friends and contacts over the years in political, societal, and justice circles. He has maintained a great relationship with one of his university buddies, Miko Tashi. And since moving to Chicago, he has begun seeing Fran Striker, newly elected District Attorney for Chicago.
