[Summary of travels into eastern Drak'aroth, exploring the Arcaeneum, and coming face to face with Ra.]

In what ended up being their final confrontation with Ra, the heroes held nothing back. Fighting fiercely in the arena...

[Summary of the final battle with Ra]

In the last moments of the battle, Braethr Delmirev, consumed by rage and bloodlust, lashed out at the System Lord, pouring all of his energy, rage, and disdain for life into one last strike from his energy cannon. Rosélia Delmirev, who had been summoned only moments before by Ra, sat battered, bruised, and bloodied on the ground next to him, a look of love and sadness on her face. As the weapon overloaded, silence seemed to pour over the Arcaeneum, a bright blue white light cutting the air between the combatants in two. Brightness filled the arena, blinding the party and throwing everyone back.

As the smoke and dust cleared, pages from once whole textbooks fluttering slowly to the ground, the aftermath left little to the imagination. A large crater filled the space where Ra and Rose once stood, their bodies vaporized along with most of Braethr's left arm. Fenris Windstrider and Feyre Norixius, recovering quickly from their daze, ran over to ensure that Ra was truly dead. Standing over the charred ground where the mightiest of the System Lords once stood, they found only a small ring in a pile of rubble nearby. Picking it out and dusting it off, Feyre realized this must have been Rosélia's Wedding Band. Gazing upon the golden ring adorned with deep blue scales, the heroes were able to make out a poem of love and longing, inscribed by Scotarius Delimrev long ago. Realizing the true extent of his actions and their consequences, something within Braethr finally broke, and he collapsed to the ground, overwhelmed by tears of grief and sorrow.

As the necessities of reality set in around them, soldiers and officers of the Coalition slowly found their way into the Arcaeneum, sharing reports of victory within the city as the heroes' forces routed the last of the Dark Army from Drak'aroth. As the heroes's subcommanders began briefing the party on their gains and reports, Feyre, with the permission of Braethr, removed the diamond from Rose's ring and began to attempt to revive her. Despite her best efforts, including aid and insight from Fenris and Kiersey Mirrorwind, Rose's soul proved unreachable, prevented from returning to the material plane by some unseen force. Going against pleas by their subcommanders, Braethr refused to allow the Arcaeneum to become a base of operations, demanding that the final resting place of his mother be left undisturbed.
