Mochi, the Tabaxi innkeeper, possesses a serene and welcoming countenance, with the quiet confidence of a former ranger of the Beast Master path. Her grey-striped fur is well-kept, with subtle shades that suggest a life lived both within the sanctuary of the wild and the hearth of the Inn. Her emerald green eyes, bright and perceptive, mirror the verdant forests she once roamed, and now reflect the lively spirit of her establishment.

She wears a functional, yet becoming, tunic with a laced bodice, allowing for ease of movement—a nod to her ranger roots. Her attire is accessorized with a simple, practical belt adorned with pouches that likely hold tokens from her adventures or necessities for running her inn. Draped over her shoulders is a soft, earth-toned shawl that offers warmth and adds to her motherly appeal.

Around her, the inn itself teems with life, much like the forests she used to patrol. The patrons—be they feline or other folk—enjoy the camaraderie and comfort her presence naturally fosters. Despite her new role as an innkeeper, the poised set of her ears and the graceful poise of her tail hint at a continued readiness to leap into action, should her friends or her new home—the inn—require her protection.

Things she might say:

  • "Let's get you settled with some hot food, dear. Nothing like a good stew to chase away the chill, eh?"
  • - "Hope your heart's as full as your cup, and your worries as light as dandelion fluff on the breeze."
  • - "Take a load off and stay awhile, love. Everyone's just looking for a place to hang their hat at the end of the day."
  • - "You listen to the whispers of the woods; they'll lead you right, all the way to cozy places and friendly faces."
  • - "Keep an eye open, you'll find warmth and welcome, much like a beacon on a dark winter's night."
  • - "Around here, every tale told is another leaf on the old maple, making the family ties a little stronger."
  • - "Now, don't you worry about the dark, there's always a light on in the window here for you."
  • - "A bit of kindness can turn the toughest day around, kind of like a warm blanket on a snowy evening."
  • - "Nothing beats the comfort of a well-fluffed pillow, a hearty laugh, and stories that take us back and forward all at once."
  • - "A good host knows your order, but it takes a mother's touch to see past the smile to the heart.
  •  "Alright, that's enough now. We're all friends under this roof, so let's settle down before the frost bites harder than words."
  • - "I won't have any roughhousing scaring the little ones. Take a breath and cool off, or you'll find the snow outside warmer than my hospitality."
  •  "This isn't how we treat each other in my house. Apologize, or I'll be sending you out to chop wood until you remember your manners."
  •  "We solve our problems with words in here, not fists. If you're looking to throw hands, you can throw them around a shovel clearing the walkway."
  •  "The only brawl I want in my tavern is a tussle of tales. So, unless you're arm wrestling with anecdotes, I suggest you simmer down."
