Ares Club - London

Headquarters and main location for the Ares Club. 

In addition to parlors and sitting rooms stocked with the latest newspapers and periodicals, the headquarters boasts:

• a full kitchen and dining area capable of serving up to 60 guests at one time.
• sleeping quarters for 47
  • 1 Royal suite 
  • 2 deluxe suites
  • 4 suites
  • 12 private rooms
  • 2 common rooms (4 single bunk beds)
• Fully stocked bar, smoking room, and game room
• Conference rooms with accurate and up-to-date maps of Mars (accurate by Earth standards). These maps include navigational maps and charts needed to travel to and from Mars.
• Lecture hall seating 72 people.
• Journals and books on Martian culture, geography, flora, fauna, and language. 

Rules for membership (general):

• British citizen
• Demonstration of character (class, courage, or coin)
• Male
• Interest in Mars and advancement of ties between Martians and the British Empire
• Sponsorship (by existing member)
• Successful vote of acceptance (by existing membership)

Short term goals of the club:

• Better understanding of Martian culture, especially details on the Martian houses and their political climate. 
• Better understanding of Martian technology, especially regarding interplanetary travel and their military. 
• Better understanding of Martian geology and resouces.
