Corellon is the creator and preserver of the elven race, and governs those things held in the highest esteem among elves. Corellon’s symbol is a silver star on a blue field. Corellon is described as androgynous, and can choose to be male or female, or “both or neither”.
Corellon is a chaotic good greater deity, and his domains are chaos, good, protection, and war. Corellon’s favored weapon is the longsword. Corellon’s home plane is Arvandor, the Verdant Isles, a realm of endless sky, wind, and clouds. Corellon’s allies include the other members of the Seldarine, the elven pantheon, as well as other deities of magic, beauty, and nature. Corellon’s enemies include Lolth, the spider queen, Gruumsh, the god of orcs, and other deities of evil, tyranny, and destruction.
Corellon’s followers seek to emulate his ideals of beauty, harmony, and excellence. Corellon’s clerics are known as sword dancers, and they combine martial skill and arcane power in their service to the god. Corellon’s temples are usually elegant and artistic structures, often located in natural settings or high places. Corellon’s holy days are the solstices and equinoxes, and his worshipers celebrate with festivals, feasts, and contests of skill and creativity. Corellon’s sacred animal is the unicorn, and his sacred plant is the mistletoe.
Corellon is the source of the elven race, and he is revered by all elves, except the drow who follow Lolth. Corellon is also worshiped by half-elves, who see him as a symbol of their dual heritage. Corellon is respected by other races who appreciate his gifts of magic and art, such as gnomes, halflings, and humans. Corellon is opposed by those who seek to destroy or corrupt the nature and the beauty that he cherishes, such as orcs, goblins, and fiends.
