20th of Tarsakh, 1491 DR.

The Indigo Troupe arrives in Waterdeep to be on hand to perform for the festival of Greengrass, and the days leading up to it. They set up outside the Southern Gate of Waterdeep.

28th of Tarsakh, 1491 DR.

All was going well until this night, when the troupe leader, Oxford Denton, was caught robbing the estate of Hothemer Family. The men at arms of the house slew him and captured Elinda Jasmel, his partner for decades. Elinda was turned over to the city watch. Fastoon, the 3rd cohort, returned to the troupe bearing the grim news. He then set out before dawn, fearing the watch would come looking for him.

30th of Tarsakh, 1491 DR.

Today, an edict from a Waterhavian judge found Oxford and Elinda guilty of burglary and assault, as per the Waterdeep Code Legal. Oxford was posthumously fined 750gp. Elinda fined 250gp and sentenced to 30 days in the Waterdeep jail. By afternoon, several of the wagons were seized to be auctioned off.

Greengrass.

The festival was not the event the group planned. With the costume wagon being one of the wagons seized, as well as the loss of three key troupe members, the troupe is in disarray.

1st of Mirtul, 1491 DR.

The remaining members of the troupe vote to formally disband.

2nd of Mirtul, 1491 DR.

With the troupe in disarray, Derek Ringle, the troupe's wagon master, sold off several of the wagons and disappeared. This includes the bunk wagons where several of the members slept, now leaving them homeless.

Mylar gathers Drew and Kithsira with a possible lead on work. He has learned of a fixer named Sella the Red. Rumors are that she brokers in work for those willing to push the boundaries of the Waterdeep Code Legal.

Late in the afternoon, the trio make their way to a tavern known as the Sleeping Snake. They find the bar to be less than half full and despite it still being light outside, the lighting inside, while not dark, is considerably less than bright. The decor is old and well worn, but not necessarily shabby, nor dirty. The stools, chairs, and tables are somewhat solid and in good repair; definitely a good sign.

A dwarf with a short beard moves behind the bar, obviously walking on some sort of elevated surface as the bar is normal sized. He uses a mystical mage hand to retrieve a bottle from a high shelf behind him as he pulls a short, thick glass from under the bar.

At the far end of the bar, a sizable half-orc sits facing the room, assessing new comers. He wears comfortable hard leather armor with coin sized metal plates that provide additional protection. A pair of stout clubs, or batons, hang from his belt. He gives the trio a second look over, then returns his attention to the room in general.

A young adult woman with freckled skin, wearing tight, colorful wraps grabs the glass and a tankard and dances (literally) her way across the room to a table, delivering the drinks and collecting coin from two men dressed like dock workers or some other type of laborers.

One of the women sitting at a table in the corner has hair so red its either dyed, or she is a tiefling. At her table is a woman, though not full-elven, has definite elven heritage. Two men, one perhaps five and a half-feet tall and slim, the other a full six feet tall and husky, talk quietly and drink. The tables nearest her table are empty, the other patrons spread around the bar. Of the twelve seats at the bar, half are open.
