The bane of ships

A large bay in the southern parts of the continent of Othis. Rocky and frequented by violent storms, the bay is named after the large quantity of ships destroyed in its waters. Several large rock formation jut from the water as if teeth of some ancient being.
The most tragic of sinkings was the sinking of The Promise, a ship with 50 lives aboard. The Promise struck a large rock formation and sunk slowly, as people jumped into the turbulent waters in an attempt to survive. Sharks and drowning were the fate of all but one, the three year old Juline Staelle, who was aboard a floating piece of wreckage when she was found.
Juline Staelle was fostered to adulthood within the fortress of Sturmende and found happiness in a marriage to a local farmer.
Some fishermen risk the dangerous waters of Schiffbruch Bay, as the sought after Duskfish form large shoals within the bay as they approach the shallower, turbulent waters to spawn.
Duskfish: A common meal throughout the Stormlands, duskfish produce a lean and versatile meat that is pale orange in color, which the locals claim is due to their diet rich in rose shrimps and crimson crabs. The fish itself is approximately the size and shape of an outstretched hand, and found in great shoals that circle in the shallows.
White Sharks: The largest predatory species that inhabits the waters around the Schiffbruch Bay, white sharks patrol the bay in bands of up to thirty individuals, although most activity happens during the dawn and twilight hours of the day. Light grey in colour, with white-tipped fins and underbelly, they can grow to over ten feet in length, although most reach around five or six feet in reality, a size that is still formidable.
