A great range of snow-covered mountains branching off from the Roof of the World. It is said that a great serpent, an ancient, white-scaled wyrm called by the wise, Kŭthogra the Calamitous, is said to dwell deep back in this range of steep mountains. Numerous wild beasts and some foul creatures dwell here along with much regular animal game. Near their far eastern toes, dwarves from Drakenpeak labor in one of their more successful mines who keep the same name as this tall range. At this range's eastern end, the dwarves of Drakenpeak has established a successful colony at the Karkallian Mines. There are giants throughout these mountains, as well as other giant-kind. A large tribe of the Goliath peoples roam these ranges, and they are trusted allies of the dwarves at the Karkallian Mines. All peoples here do their best to remain off the mind of the great serpent, Kŭthogra.
