Drake was a typical bookworm. He read everything he could get his hands on. Growing up, he got in trouble for not doing his chores and instead reading. This eventually paid off for him as he found some books on magic and learned how to cast spells. Nothing complex at first, but eventually, he became one of the land's most successful and revered Wizards.
He joined the adventure group Warbanter when he was pretty young, went all over the world helping people, and even helped kill a dragon.
He eventually helped form a group that helped preserve the texts of the land. They organized and let people check them out to read them, a library, if you will.
His day eventually came when one of his students in the magical arts cast a spell they couldn't control. He tried to stop it, and he did in the end, but it cost him his life. That student never forgave himself for killing Drake. He eventually drank himself to death. However, that student would go on to have a son named Drake and another named Morph. They both picked up magic but eventually left home to find their path in life.
