The mountain range that separates Lamalon and Cefeng

Burkhan Khladun acts as a natural barrier to The Imperial Hegenomy of Cefeng and the Kingdom of Lamalon. While there is a natural path that allows trade routes and caravans to pass by the mountains safely, the mountain does a good job of keeping these rival nations separated.
The mountain is home to the headquarters of the Pontifate Order ex Quo on the continent of Poset, The Temple of the King. There is a trail that leads up the mountain to the temple, as well as the village of Grex Nostor that surrounds it.
Utilizing the craftsmanship of The Stromppish, the Pontifate was able to dig deep into the mountain in order to the Temple to extend down into the depths. Unbeknownst to the world at large, below the surface, was the rotting corpse of Therizdun, at least the eye poking out of a hole leading into the Sinking. It appeared that much of the design of the lower levels was intentional to keep this threat (and later the threat of the Gnarling) contained within the halls of the Temple and thus kept from spreading into the mountain.
