21th of Eleint, 1491 DR

The party heads west out of the city, casting pass without trace after travelling only about half an hour. They then turn north circling around the city.

Are they near the river, they proceed to travel ne, paralleling the river. As the day nears end, Yo casts pass without trace a second time. They proceed on another half hour before making camp.

22nd of Eleint, 1491 DR

The party finds themselves travelling overland along the River Lapendrar.

  • they have magical abilities, many using pact magic and unique rituals.
  • common to be a part of a coven.

  • many hags or in the service of Orcus.
  • pact magic and unique rituals, and those service in the service of Orcus are necromancers.
  • specialize in scrying magic and magics like precognition and enchantments.

We get to the river safely when pass without trace expires. The population density increases as we get closer to the river. We easily avoid running into anyone by going through the fields. We come across a place where a battle seems to have taken place.

Late afternoon, we hear people in the distance. We circle around them. We eventually start to concern ourselves with camping. Before going to camp, Yo casts pass without trace again to throw off anyone else who has come across our tracks. We continue on for another 30 minutes before finding a camping spot.

23rd of Eleint, 1491 DR

We camp. At false dawn, we hear some guys coming down towards us. They start to talk with us, but make a comment about hunting a dragonborn. Our resident dragonborn then attempts (poorly) to hit the guy with an arrow, starting combat. Lots of things happen. Spells are thrown, arrows are loosed, swords are swung (one guy attempts to grapple Yo, but doesn't realize just how hard it is to grab him). Eventually, we kill a couple of the bounty hunters and thus gain the upper hand. Several of us are wounded as well, but they begin to flee. Four or five make it away, but Yo does chase one of them down. He recovers a Wand of Magic Missiles.
