Quartermaster: Lord Jadus Forkenspoon

Located on the far side of the Black Rush River, Rushside was originally created as a post for a great river chain, but the project shut down for lack of funding after The Stargazer put an end to Lord Cade's Uprising, in 919. Jadus Forkenspoon, a rare halfling entrepreneur, bought the outpost for mere pence on the crown. He opened Forkenspoon's, an eatery and entertainment hall. Vising dignitaries prefer Forkenspoon's due to its isolation from the rest of Northgate. 

Lord Jadus maintains a small constabulary force consisting of mercenaries and retired Midland Regulars. 

At the mouth of the Black Rush, there stands a beacon tower to help guide ships into the Northgate docks as well as providing safe passage up the river.

In 922, an ancient hidden passageway leading into the mountainside was discovered. Rumor has it that it leads to the legendary underground city of Lantis Mor, a dwarven kingdom. To date, there has been little to substantiate the rumors, and Lord Jadus (officially the Quartermaster of Rushside) has a mandate forbidding entry to the underpass.
