Town of Sigby
-
A fortified port town
Score 176
07/21/21
A small fortified town just south of the crossing of the Stimbark River and the first northern bastion against thuel raiders.
Sigby Harbor allows limited shipping access to Lake Argos as well as a known safe harbor against storms.

Highlord Ipsgrave of Port Brax has commissioned a new fortified keep to be constructed north of Sigby on the southern shore of the Stimbark in an effort to rejoin the south with Northgate and points north via the Toll Roads. This has been an economic boon for Sigby, due to the influx of construction workers and support workers.
It is a commonly-told rumor that Ipsgrave dances to the jig of the Port Brax gang bosses' music and that the crime lords are pushing to have the roads and tollhouses reopened. The new keep is to be named New Rising, with the ruins of Castle Rising to the north renamed Old Rising, reconstruction concurrent with New Rising's progress.
