Riveraxe Village

Few forest tribes have the luxury of settling in one area, but the small (less than 100 members) Riveraxe tribe had earned themselves a permanent home by becoming experts in herbalism.

The larger thuel tribes relied on their secret skills for rare healing remedies, and the Riveraxe clan stayed out of the various blood feuds and turf wars that erupted from time to time, maintaining scrupulous neutrality.

Unfortunately for the tribe, a plague of giant tree spiders decimated their ranks and took over the area. By the time a band of adventurers, Wodon's Heroes, arrived, the spiders had eaten most of the barbarians and cocooned the remainder in a handful of huts. 

The surviving members, led by their chieftain and head medicine man, Mil-aAntar, were accepted into the nearby barbarian village of Grimrock, where they are currently rebuilding their herbalism practce.
