The Rat's Nest

"The Rat's Nest," is a notorious low-life meeting spot in the heart of Kjent, where the scum of the streets gather for their nefarious activities.

Located in a dimly lit alleyway, the entrance to The Rat's Nest is marked by a weather-battered sign that reads "Bar" in faded letters. A heavy iron door with a peephole guards the entrance and only those who know the secret knock and password are granted entry. Of course, most everyone in the city knows the "secret". 

Once inside, you'll find yourself in a grungy, dimly lit room with stained walls and peeling paint. The air is thick with the acrid scent of cheap booze and smoke, and the sound of raucous laughter and whispered conversations fill the room.

A long bar lines one wall of the room, manned by Bratlan, a grizzled bartender with an enigmatically smiling face and a short temper. Behind him, shelves are stocked with dusty bottles of liquor and rows of mismatched glasses.

The rest of the room is filled with a motley crew of lowlifes, ranging from street thugs and pickpockets to shady merchants and corrupt officials. Some sit at small, rickety tables, playing cards or haggling over deals, while others stand in tight-knit groups, talking in hushed tones.

The atmosphere in The Rat's Nest is tense and dangerous, and it's not uncommon for fights to break out over a stolen purse or a botched deal. But for those who are willing to take the risk, this meeting spot is the perfect place to find allies in their villainy and skulduggery.
