18/10/42 Aper Tertius (morning)
The group, rocked by the revelation that this is the Cradle of Creation, discuss gods. Cefesee is more shocked than most and, his faith rocked, drinks the rest of Tian's booze. The group are unsettled and Tian leaves to watch the entrance.
There he is distracted and doesn't notice the approaching azer from his hiding position. The bronze dwarf walks on oblivious and, as Tian follows, the azer's companion places his dagger against his back. Tian is led off.
Some time later the group wonder where Tian is and go looking. Cefesee, in spite of his drunkenness, begins tracking him away from the chamber.
Batthu pursues alone. Belam, Cefesee and Lowan wait.
Whilst they walk, Tian uses the small amount of giant one dwarf speaks to learn about Itar (his capture). He learns the azer are enslaved and that failure will result in the death of these slaves (and likely their families). Part way back they are met by three more azer who become increasingly grumpy and uncomfortable. Tian passes over some beads of nourishment to Itar.
Tian eventually persuades the dwarf he was lost and a guest who was meant to trade for weapons. The azer aren't wholly convinced but trusting that their 'betters' will discover the truth.
Tian gets led into the tented region of the occupied zone. He is shown to a nice tent where he is offered worryingly thick red wine and food. Susti arrives and begin speaking with him about a possible deal, assuming he is a representative of an ally of theirs named Vaigheos (a sinister gold dragon who they assumed to still be around).
Batthu, meanwhile, has caught up and stands in the corner...still invisible.
