The party find themselves in an unfamiliar realm, encounter hostile local wildlife and face down Ashkeeper

Date unknown, Location unknown...day 1
The party wake up in a chamber reminiscent of the one they were just in. This one is ruined and open to the sky , around 100 feet down. The brim of the pit is stalked by 3 Yeth Hounds, Coin Tír na nÓg. Heskan and Elnorin reached the top easily whilst Ruric Ironfoot struggled with the climb. Braith provided support from the ground with her bow. The hounds were dangerous but, with their magical armoury, the group fared well. At the top they found a hut nearby. Undisturbed by the hounds was a nagpa named Drix. She spoke to the party briefly, highlight Ruric's curse and the direction to the nearest town. She said that the Queen of Ravens may help them and that the town was of the Shadar-Kai.
The land was cold and the rocks whispered as the wind blew. There were trails behind many of the rocks, all seemingly in the direction they travelled.
Braith suffered worst from the cold but, before long, they were ambushed by some giant wolves with ash coloured fur. A skirmish ensued but the wolves were eventually driven off and their dead skinned for pelts.
That night they rested in a cave and Ruric contemplated releasing himself from the Ashkeeper. The group formulated a plan for the next morning.
Day 2
Heskan had not slept a full night and was exhausted from this.
Ruric attempted to break the curse, resulting in him being able to lay the axe down. Elnorin dispelled the axe next. Ruric battled against the will of the weapon and managed to leave the cave. More spells were cast but, as they used lightening to collapse the cave, Ruric fell under the sway of the axe. He summoned it to him, once again binding himself to the weapon.
