Mina leaves them at the entrance to the village. The group move through town to Heskan's house where they meet Shemash (Heskan's father). He insist on making up beds out of spare roofing material.
The group then look to find stabling for their animals and head to the paladin barracks where they meet Perra. Perra permits them to use the stables and she insists Heskan not keep Nymbryxion waiting. The group are told the can wait in the mess hall.
Whilst Heskan performs a cleaning ceremony in the hot springs, the rest of the group are assailed by a young paladin in the mess hall as he walks in to find an odd group in residence. Seeing that Ruric has the air of undeath around him, he attempts to smite the dwarf. Braith disarms him with a well-placed arrow whilst Elnorin interposes himself between them. Things are made worse when a card from the deck of illusion summons a T'Saint. Perra runs into the room and tells Sethrakar to go for atonement for attacking obvious guests unprovoked. Perra yields to Heskan's obvious support of Ruric's state but will hear what Nymbryxion has to say on the matter.
Braith brings the animals indoors (except for Namhias, who is enjoying the cold).
Heskan speaks with Nymbrxion, who listens to Heskan's recounting of events. He then asks Heskan to fetch his friends. The group are offered tea.
The group speak with Nymbryxion about a number of things of grand importance, especially how powerful beings become powerful. The concept of harmony is discussed. He also mentions that Ashkeeper and Ruric's connection may still be present (although weakly).

Heskan attends devotion whilst the others talk. Mina mentions that Greethen, a childhood friend of Heskan's, had asked whether the paladin could help with training the village's novice warriors.
Ruric spends time with the docent, rocked by the discovery he is part undead, whilst Elnorin spends time in nature.
Heskan, Braith and Bankanir head to help Greethen. Braith and Bankanir deliver an archery lesson.
All of the group begin to meet Hirrathak (the head arcanist) who is accompanied by Mina. They discuss a number of subjects including the maccan (and it's crystals). Ruric asks whether someone could go to the circle of knowledge and Hirrathak postulates that Nervein may be the only logical choice. They ask of various aspects of magic and harmony but also myth. As the conversation draws to an end they realise that some of the dragonborn myths don't share the same timeline as the human myths, leading to the group wondering where the truth lies and how old Findabair is.
They asked them for help building a relationship with the hall of knowledge, copying the maccan book, the construction of firestones and knowledge on the driftwood staff.
