Whilst following the path to the temple of Sochet, the party find the cult of Sabba had been travelling the opposite direction

Following the battle with the chimera, the beast is briefly studied and harvested for rare components. The group then travel onwards.

Late in the morning Idrizraele spots an odd pattern in the sand to the north west. The pattern is unusually regular and hints at buried buildings. The group head that way and Tian goes to scout. The dragonborn's desire to remain hidden led him to a concealed gully and then a hole.
The hole led down to a branching path. The rest of the party joined Tian and they investigated one of the paths which led, apparently, to the side of a buried pyramid. The entrance has a short corridor and a pit with a previously activated trap. Here they find dead members of the cult of Sabba and a fake entrance into the pyramid.
The group investigate to make sure there isn't anything more hidden here and then head down the other branch. It's at this point they note that the shoddily shored up tunnels are fairly direct to their goals, implying a level of knowledge by the amateur excavators.
The second entrance has a much longer corridor but another corpse from the cult. Tian investigates, finding a path of blades down the corridor and it's two perpendicular neighboring passages. As the group discover that there is no trigger for the trap other than a lever on the wall, Belam notices a ghostly figure watching them from a room down the corridor. The room holds a story on the wall but Belam can't understand it. The group begins to move but Tian is struck by a psychic attack and witnesses a queen from the ancient kingdom and her advisor. When he comes to, Tian is holding the trap lever whilst the rest stand in imminent danger. Batthu immediately webs the gold dragonborn to the wall, preventing any accidents.
The group resolve the situation and notice Tian is injured. As they progress in they find another chamber with part of a story about a queen and her advisor. In an adjacent room the group notice a clay statue that Tian recognises as the advisor. Two spirits fly into it and animate it. A fight ensues and the group handily defeat the statue whilst the ghosts flee.
