Imprisoned at Moonbrook for trying to steal King Ivellios' wand. Elven children bring food to him every day at the top of the waterfall in Moonbrook, prior to riding the waterfall into the pool below.

There once was an elf with a wand,

Which a gnome once tried to abscond.

Said the fey to the thief,

"I repay you my grief.

Bearing locks on a box is your bond."

The puzzle involves passing the wand in box with 1 or 2 locks on it through the gnome's prison cell without him being able to open the box. The characters can freely walk around the prison cell through a circular hallway to the other side. But a magical ward prevents the wand from going with them. It can only be passed through the prison cell.

The wand has various spells on it that can be used later to bypass obstacles in the other rooms of the dungeon.
