Limestone caverns that were once the home of a smuggling operation

A vast network of limestone caves which used to serve as the headquarters of the Mercati, until they were driven out in what historians call "The Battle of Tamal".  Natural fauna include Perrawyn (alligator like creatures) which feed on blind fish.

Baron Imoldo and his allies (the Impuniti, the Roamers, and the Gralim Orc Tribe) successfully invaded the caves in the year 502, ending smuggling operations by the Mercati. These smuggling operations were eating into the Baron's profits from the taxation of imports into the Kingdom of Umerus.

Now the caves are occupied by the Gralim Orc Tribe, a reward for their participation in defeating the Mercati. The Baron had also promised the same caves to the Impuniti, but later double-crossed them.
