The world the campaign takes place in

This is the name of the entire known world. It is made up of many different cultures. The Baronies of Terrinoth house a more familiar medieval style society, while the empire in Lorimor may remind some of ancient Greece and Rome. The Amazons rule in the jungles of Zanaga (where dinosaurs still roam) along with other native cultures, while an Arabic culture exists in the sands of Al-Kalim. The Dwarves inhabit the Dunwarr mountains where they built their cities, while the Elves fled to their hidden cities in the Aymhelin Forest. An Oriental society exists in the lands of Kara-Tur, a land tucked between the savage Uthuk Y'llan in the Ru Steppes and the dragon-laden Molten Hearth. While Halflings can be found everywhere, many of them took to the icy lands of Isheim, where their burrowing ability allowed them to stay warm and flourish there. It is a land brimming with possibilities for brave souls.
Of course, other lands are rumored as well, beyond the Ru Steppes, or across the Endless Ocean. But most citizens dismiss such talk as tall tales, fantasies, or the ravings of lunatics
