11/21/19The standard caravel is easily one of the largest ships for the most reasonable amount of coin.
It is also small enough to visit and dock at smaller port villages and islands, undeveloped ports, etc.
It is the most common ship on the seas, and in the larger rivers of the Baronies. Merchants can typically buy two Caravels and halfway to a third for the price of one Galleon, so they are much more plentiful on the seas.
Most navies employ them as coastal guard ships, and they are used as the merchant's workhorse in the Baronies, and in all other areas of Mennara.
