It is the go-to vessel for fishermen and merchant ships in the Empire of Shenzhou.
The vessels are rarely armed, but when they are, it is typically with light ballistae.
This kind of ship is also used by smugglers or river pirates in the Baronies, due to the lower draft, and it being easier to navigate in shallow waters. They are rarely seen in the open oceans, even though they are quite seaworthy for it. Most credit this to the sheer number of pirates in most waters.
