The first camps discovered this lake and a rich deposit of coal. With the old Phandalin still in ruins, this area was a great place to start limited mining operations. Twenty three people went on this expedition with Jay William Graham, Sammie Graham, Melvin Graham, and Samantha Graham to set up a coal mining and start a fishing dock to enjoy.  The area is rich in minerals and animals for hunting but the farming is difficult. Phandalin is rich in farming but poor in minerals. So this area brings advantages to both communities.
