Welcome Whench Inn

The square wooden sign shows a buxom and smiling girl holding a flagon of beer. The Welcome Wench, a place renowned for its good food and excellent drink! Passing merchants make a point of stopping, as do many other sorts of wayfarers, and it is said that the place is always filled with patrons.

Stallanford’s only inn, Inn of the Welcome Wench Inn is owned by Ostler Gundiboot and his short, overweight wife, Glora Gundiboot. Ostler is well liked by everyone, while Glora has a reputation for being a bit of a gossip-monger. The inn runs a small store which is only open to the well-liked patrons. Some of them are officers from the nearby Duke Road Keep.

Entertainment in the Inn is cheap but constant as many people from Penhaligon and Threshold ho like music and dancing like to visit Stallanford to perform. The Inn always has an endless supply of goat-cheese and the local strong dark beer called Stallan’s. Sharrlaya Dancingblade is one of them.
