Xelsior Barwind
-
Paladin in penance
Score 220
08/07/23Xelsior was captured by Queen Anne during the War of Sorrows and refused to turn, so he was crucified. Later, he decided he wanted his magic items back, so he returned to Queen Anne, murdered a baby and its mother at her command, and was given back his celestial armor and oathbow. She gave him a mission to murder Princess Artania. Xelsior was now an anti-paladin, a knight dedicating his life to chaotic evil.
Encountering Nemo, Xelsior revealed his mission, and while he was wounded and weak, Nemo murdered him. Xelsior went to hell, where he was tormented by demons as he deserved.
Medea again had mercy and raised Xelsior from the dead, this time as a human again. Xelsior was given his holy avenger back, and given a quest to find the Talisman of Ultimate Good. But until the quest be completed, Xelsior is under an oath of poverty and chastity. He may not wear armor, he may not have any possessions other than his sword, he may not even wear boots. He must wear a hair shirt and hair pants which cause him 1 point of bleeding damage per day. He must never ask for money for any acts of mercy he performs, and yet must deny no one aid and assistance if the cause be for good.
Updated: Xelsior redeemed himself by facing the frost giant alone. After he was revived by the Hammer of Repair, he helped defeat the old blue dragon Drachmus and obtain the Talisman of Ultimate Good.

So how many times exactly did this guy die? Maybe you should let him wear armor so he doesn't die so often so Medea can take a break.
