Not much is known of Daedulus' history, but what is known is that it was a city long dedicated to the burial of the dead by an ancient civilization. This made it a great place for the Lich King to get his start, a place where thousands of dead bodies could be dug up and turned into an undead army. The city was ruled by the vampire Queen Anne, who ruled with her vampire court, the Thumes and others...

Now it is under control of King Leviathan Seabarrow, the current state of the island Mortannia a mystery.
