Titanspire

One of Auprivaineth's largest cities located on it's northern side. Titanspire is so named for the massive tower located at its center. The tower dominates the surrounding skyline for 60 miles, towering almost half a mile tall. The tower was a marvel of the ancient world, originally built by a city of giants that were said to be inspired by the dwarves. After the giants were destroyed by a necromancer, the tower was used as a staging area for undead assaults against the living world. Once it was reclaimed by adventurers, the tower was turned into the city of Titanspire that grew into a large city.

What used to be a popular tourist destination and hub of trading is now nothing more than a husk of its former glory. The rolling golden hills that was farmland is now clogged with the bones and broken weapons of Vellsteinian and Lin-Ghidarian armies. Bustling markets and city streets now lie barren and ransacked after the city was burned. The population now either dead, missing or refugees in southern Auprivaineth.  

The massive tower that the city was named for still stands, even after being bombarded with siege weapons for several days. Inside Titanspire was the Gilded Market, town hall, several noble estates and the garrison for the town. The final fall back eventually fell during the siege, and the inhabitants were slaughtered. Now that it has been abandoned for several years, tales that something else lurks inside, guarding the treasures and baubles that were once for sale or cherished by those that lived here.
