Bonus Action 1 - Push? Dodge? Spell? Riposte? Actions Multi-attack - One bite and two stinger attacks. Claw attack - +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: (2d8 + 6) slashing. Bite attack - +9 to hit, reach 10 ft., one creature. Hit: (2d6 + 6) piercing plus a DC 14 Con save or target takes 4d6 poison damage. Stinger attack - +9 to hit, reach 10 ft., one creature. Hit: (2d4 + 6) piercing plus (4d6) poison. |
Villain Actions Round 1. This action is taken when the creature is at near full health and is meant to intimidate the PCs into submission. It might be crippling spray of poison, a move that puts the creature at advantage for attacks, or something like that. Round 2. At this point the creature might call in reinforcements or change the battlefield to its advantage. A rockslide. The floor becomes ice. A swarm of bats attacks and hides it from view. Round 3. This action should really ramp up the action level and place a PC in mortal danger. A hostage is taken. A call for support minions to attack the weakest player. Final Action Nothing to Lose. This triggers when the baddie is low on health. Escape? All out attack? Frenzy mode with resistance to normal weapon damage? Increase in AC as it fills with adrenaline and roars to frighten off the attackers? |
