Lord Vital McGillam

Born the son of one of the most powerful families in Tidestone, Vital spent his early years living a life a comfort in the port city of Glaskin. However, his early years were also marked with strife with his father, who he consistently disappointed with his brash recklessness, womanizing, carousing, and utter disinterest in the life of a social noble. His father banished him from his mansion for an incident involving the underage half-elf daughter of a noble.  Shamed by his behavior, his father sent him out in anger.  Taken in by his great uncle, Red McShales in the Glaskin Magisterium, it was there that Vital found his passion - exploration. 

In 1997 A.F., Mcgillam left the town of Larakesh under the provisions of the new Atra, a Leonin named Ezkeet.  He returned to Larakesh months later in search of a wizard, but was unable to procure services due to the building anti-arcane sentiment in the Northern Kingdom. 

McGillam finished his first expedition with unknown findings returning first to Doheag and then to the Glaskin Magisterium where he shared his findings with the Barony and Shrewd McShales.  They financed his second and third expeditions in the months before the Siblings War with ships to the eastern coast of the Ischarlin Wilds.  His discoveries were not shared with the Barony, which was in turmoil.

Lord Vital led a secret final expedition to the Ischarlin Wilds in 2017.  He and his comrades have not been seen since.
