A party of independent Exinates is hired by the Ash Bastards to travel into the jungles to discover the lost city of Khaoritan in hopes of discovering missing components of the Stave of Ischarlin. Roving bands of tabaxi, lizards of unusual size, a lost ancient city with a history of cosmic level tragedy and death, and a race against evil forces determined to get there first all stand in the way.
