Turangol

After Thark was blown up….again, most residents decided to move across the river and start the town of Turangol with the elves.  Technically within the borders of the Elven Nation, Turangol has Clan Trees and households from some of the major elvish clans.

The town is the home of The Magic University, the largest center of magical learning on the Eldland continent.  It is also home to the best known Swabashian Arch.  Most player characters are based out of Turangol.

The town still has close ties with the old town of Thark across the river, and a ferry service runs regularly between the two.  Some people decided to never leave Thark, but still come to Turangol for services.

The town is loosely bordered by a large hedgerow which will allow for future growth of the town as it can spread out into the woods as need be.  The river is the main source of trade, but there are overland routes that connect it to other cities on the Eldland.
