Tivalera

The largest continental mass on the world. It’s people were originally from the Eldland, the elves even maintaining their old family clans. Languages are familiar, although there has been a slight shift over the years in pronunciation

Geographically, this continent is interesting. It has no mountains what-so-ever. They have a huge forest of Lacewood that seems more friendly than the Eldland version (it actually allows the elves to live within it). The elvin city of Vize is within.

Humans tend to stay clear of the Greater Lacewood and the elves within it, there is a distrust between these two races based in their lifespan differences. The elves do not have any of the Jandari clan, but call their greater heroes Jandari. There is a family of grey colored elves who live in the roots of the unstable forest - they have taken the Zintriny clan name and their propensity for mischief and evil.

Magic evolved slowly here, in a state of distrust. Masters grudgingly taught the basics to their students and only on a ‘what good does this do me?’ kind of attitude. Much of the basics were lost due to Masters dying without passing on their knowledge. A magical school was established (mostly to gather willing apprentices - read workers) in the city of Logarden. This distrustful system was replaced when the Eldland mages made contact. Master's knots are worn with a beam through the knot.
