Description:   Celestial Steel is a rare and powerful metal imbued with divine energy, often associated with the celestial realms or blessed by powerful beings of light. This gleaming metal has a bright silver sheen with hints of gold that seem to glow faintly in the presence of evil. It is incredibly durable and retains sharpness longer than typical steel, making it highly prized by paladins, clerics, and other warriors who battle against the forces of darkness.

Weapons forged from Celestial Steel carry a natural divine resonance, making them particularly effective against undead and fiendish creatures. When wielded, the weapon emits a soft, holy glow in the presence of these creatures, and its strikes are infused with radiant power.

Special Properties for Celestial Steel Weapons:

• Bonus Damage vs. Undead and Fiends:     When a weapon made of Celestial Steel hits a creature with the undead or fiend type, it deals an additional 1d6 radiant damage.

• Divine Glow:     Weapons made of Celestial Steel emit a soft glow (bright light in a 10-foot radius and dim light for an additional 10 feet) when within 30 feet of an undead or fiendish creature. The light can be dimmed or extinguished by the wielder as a bonus action.

• Unbreakable by Evil:     Weapons made from Celestial Steel are nearly indestructible, especially against undead or fiendish powers. These weapons cannot be broken or corroded by necrotic energy or demonic abilities.

Crafting with Celestial Steel:

• Weapons:     When used in the creation of melee or ranged weapons, Celestial Steel grants the weapon the ability to deal 1d6 additional radiant damage to undead and fiends, making it especially effective for those who regularly hunt such creatures. The weapon may also glow faintly in the presence of such enemies, alerting the wielder to their presence.

• Armor:     Armor forged from Celestial Steel can provide resistance to necrotic damage and advantage on saving throws against being charmed or frightened by undead or fiends.

• Damage: 1d8 slashing (1d10 versatile)  
• Additional Effect: Deals 1d6 radiant damage to undead and fiendish creatures.
• Divine Glow: Emits bright light in a 10-foot radius and dim light for an additional 10 feet when within 30 feet of undead or fiends.  
• Unbreakable by Evil: Resistant to any necrotic or demonic damage that could degrade the weapon.

Legends say that Celestial Steel is created from metal blessed by celestial beings or forged in the heart of sacred, celestial flames. It is rumored that entire orders of holy knights carry weapons made of this steel, dedicated to purging the realms of undead horrors and fiendish invaders.
